Meal Planner-Plan Weekly Meals

'Meal Planner-Plan Weekly Meals' is a free app that makes the planning of your weekly meals easier. It allows you to plan your daily meals as well as snacks for the current week and all future weeks in a simple way. You can also check your meal planning from the past weeks.
Next to that there is a built-in shopping list and a list of your ingredients at home / pantry. For a monthly fee it is possible to link your partner and share your meal planning live/instantly with your partner or someone else.
Do you want to set up rules like 'monday is chicken day' or 'you have to eat at least 1 vegetarian meal a week', no problem. This app allows you to set up an unlimited number of meal rules.
You don't always have to open the app to check your meals. You can set up notifications for the meals or menu of the day and the menu of the next day.
It's a handy tool for both small and large families to manage their weekly menu calendar and meal plan if you're on a diet or not.

The meal planner
★ Swipe to go to next or previous week
★ Short click on a meal to enter the details. Everything is optional.
★ Long press on a meal to move it to a different day or swap it with another meal
★ Define categories for meals. These can be used in the meal rules
★ Search the internet for recipes and save them
★ Pick an ingredient from a preloaded list or freely enter one with calories and GI (glycemic index)
★ If you don't want to see the breakfasts, lunches or dinners, you can hide one or more of them in the settings
★ All meals are kept in memory so you don't always have to enter the full name but simply pick it from a list
★ Share your meal planning with friends or family
★ There is also an extra list of meals when the day is not yet known. You can also swap and move these meals.
★ Plan snacks

Shopping list
★ Manage your shopping with the built-in shopping list (top right icon)
★ Scan ingredients based on bar code
★ Optionally enter the store
★ Optionally filter on the store
★ If you remove an item from the list with one click it's still visible as long as the list is open
★ If you click twice on the remove button the shopping item is immediately removed from the list
★ Share the shopping list with e.g. your partner

Ingredients at home
★ Next to the shopping list you can also manage your ingredients at home.
★ Scan ingredients based on bar code
★ Can be found in the tab next to the shopping list
★ Define your ingredients + quantities
★ Quantities are editable by clicking on it

Meal rules
★ Set up default rules, e.g. friday dinner is always chicken
★ Set up min/max rules, e.g. eat at least one time vegetarian a week
★ The rules can be defined both on specfic meals or the meal categories

Notifications
★ Set up notifications for the meals/menu of the current day and the next day

★ Print a nice looking overview the meal planning

My story: My girlfriend and I have been doing meal planning for some time now. We were looking for and app but we didn't found one that did fulfill our needs. I didn't have experience in app development back then, however I was a professional developer. So I decided to give it a try and this is a result. My girlfriend and I have already been using it for a while and now I would like to share it with the world and hopefully help many families in their meal planning.

Who should use this app It doesn't matter if you plan for a small or large family; if you follow the keto, paleo, whole30 or vegan diet; this app is very flexible and should be able to fulfill your needs. If not, it's always possible to leave suggestions from within the app (menu top left -> Feedback).
